Our client, the food industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Tech
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Pay Range: Starting at $17, with potential increase to $18 after 30-60 days based on performance
Shift: 6am to 5pm (or until finished), Monday through Thursday.
What's the Job?- Review quality assurance functions during production and pre-operations as needed
- Inspect cleaning and sanitation of equipment to ensure compliance
- Verify line setup, weights, viscosity, labeling, lot codes, and expiration dates
- Conduct quality audits and isolate products that do not meet standards
- Collect and retain QC samples according to schedule and maintain documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good math and organizational skills
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Willingness to learn and train in food/beverage industry standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
