As a Restaurant Expeditor & Food Runner, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the front‑of‑house team, ensuring that dishes are delivered to our guests in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the flow of service and ensuring every guest’s experience exceeds their expectations.

• Expediting:
  Coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining room; ensure quality, accuracy, and presentation of all dishes before they leave the kitchen.
• Food Running:
  Deliver food orders to tables promptly, while ensuring an organized flow of service.
• Communication:
  Serve as the primary point of contact between the kitchen and the front‑of‑house team to ensure all orders are prioritized and completed efficiently.
• Customer Service:
  Assist in greeting and assisting guests as needed, ensuring they are satisfied with their meals and service.
• Maintaining Cleanliness:
  Help maintain a clean and organized work area, including the expediting station, food runners’ stations, and dining areas.
• Teamwork:
  Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and bartenders to ensure seamless service throughout each shift.

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fast‑paced food environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Ability to remain calm and organized during busy periods.
• A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Fast‑paced walking and moving through tight spaces between kitchen and dining areas.
• Ability to work in a noisy, bustling environment.
• Experience with tray‑jack service a plus.
