We are looking for a Cashier to join our Rowe's Team. The purpose of this position is to ensure customers leave the store with a positive experience. This person will be scanning items quickly and accurately, handling money and giving accurate change, bagging produce and other items, keeping their check stand clean and organized, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
• Deliver a great shopping experience and contribute to a positive environment of teamwork.
• Weigh and scan products.
• Accept payment and provide change when appropriate.
• Handle cash and other forms of tender accurately.
• Bag products when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and clean register area.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
• Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures.
• Assist as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole.

• At least 14 years of age.
• Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
• Ability to read, write, and do simple math.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well with others and work well as a team.
• A passion for serving people.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Cashiers perform their duties primarily at the front end of the store, with exposure to outside weather conditions k involves standing at a register for prolonged periods, repetitive arm and hand movements, moving and lifting product, and continuous interaction with customers and fellow associates.
