Licensed Optical Keyholder, Part-Time - South Regional

Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optical Supervisor (also known as Optical Keyholder) to join our team of in-house optical professionals. In this role, you will utilize your optical expertise, friendly demeanor, and product knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will assist customers with eyewear needs, ensure product quality, and explain prescription details effectively. As a key-holder, you will help open and close the store, maintain operations, and lead the team to foster a positive work environment.

The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter, eager to learn and contribute to Warby Parker's growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist customers with eyewear needs, take measurements, adjust and fit eyewear accurately.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer specifications.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Help open and close the store, maintain operational procedures, and support inventory management.
• Lead and mentor the optical team, including apprentices, and promote excellent service.

Qualifications:

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified optician with 2+ years of experience, including supervisory roles.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical terms clearly.
• Customer-focused, positive, adaptable, and a team player.
• In compliance with licensing requirements and not on the OIG's LEIE list.
