About the Role
ADI, part of Resideo Inc, is North America’s leading wholesale distributor of security and low-voltage products. This Inside Sales Associate role focuses on increasing market share, uncovering new opportunities, and providing solutions that build long‑term customer partnerships. This position is not eligible for US visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities- Meet performance targets by growing revenue and increasing margin of assigned accounts.
- Increase order size, grow customer transactions, and leverage pricing tools to improve margin.
- Expand customer base by adding new customers.
- Identify opportunities and convert customer purchases from competitors.
- Manage all existing accounts through steady communication using the Customer Database.
- Make outbound calls and reach a minimum number of calls daily to present leads.
- Promote positive relationships within ADI to encourage team sales and exceptional customer service.
- Educate customers about new products and product lines, staying abreast of industry developments.
- Maintain and update customer interactions in the tracking system.
- Apply knowledge of products and services and sell them to customers.
- Explain product features and advantages in non‑technical terms.
- Stay up to date on new offerings and technology trends through industry news.
- Leverage ADI resources, services, and programs to educate customers.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience in-store, by phone, and online.
- 1 year of sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Desire to be in a sales role and accountable for sales revenue.
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service with negotiation skills.
- Understanding of marketing skills.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
- Prior distribution experience.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Team‑orientated yet autonomous.
- Highly competitive sales mindset with a desire to contribute to a winning team.
- Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends.
