Technical Sales Representative; Florida

Job Overview

Condux International is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for explaining the company's technical product specifications to customers and advising them on purchasing decisions.

The Technical Sales Representative will conduct thorough market research, analyze competitor offerings, and gather customer feedback to manage and grow sales territories. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, selling skills, and the ability to conduct in-depth product demonstrations.

• Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain the company's products or services to customers
• Discuss equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers
• Collaborate with sales personnel to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
• Generate high-quality sales leads and follow up with customers
• Evaluate and problem-solve to define products that meet customers' technical requirements and needs
• Help customers with installed products and recommend improved or upgraded materials and machinery
• Solicit and log client feedback to create new sales and marketing strategies
• Achieve sales goals and company-set quotas
• Train other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services
• Memorize technical product specifications and stay up-to-date with new company products and industry trends

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or a similar field preferred
• Experience in sales and the technology/utility field preferred
• Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities
• Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Able to understand and speak English fluently
• Able to understand and speak Spanish fluently (desirable)
• A valid driver's license

The Technical Sales Representative will work in a remote location, with up to 85% travel required. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle pressures and meet deadlines.
