A Day in the Life at Lansing:
Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a positive, motivated, and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. Our ideal candidate will excel in prospecting new business and relationship building, while maintaining a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets.

In addition to living our Mission of Respect, Service, and Excellence responsibilities include:

New Business Development:
Identify and prospect clients within your assigned territory and develop & manage leads, through 8 - 10 daily sales appointments. Ensure timely follow-up through the Lansing Sales Cycle.
Customer Meetings:
Meet face to face and educate contractors, remodelers, & builders on our products/services, demonstrating the value and benefits for their organization.
Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and proactively offering solutions
Sales Reporting:
Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.

Outside Sales Ideal Attributes:

Strong communication and negotiation skills; confident and persuasive demeanor. Ability to establish rapport & deliver on promises.
Winning Mindset: A relentless drive to drive new business and exceed sales targets.

Outside Sales

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in territory management, B2B outside sales, with a focus on new business development

Experience with CRM software to manage and track sales activity.
Familiarity with Building Materials, Construction, or Wholesale Territory Sales
College degree preferred but not required.

Outside Sales Compensation Package:

Base salary (Include Range) plus uncapped commission, with a strong focus on performance-based incentives.
