Position: OPS Research Assistant
Location:
Florida Department of Transportation State Materials Office (SMO), Gainesville, FL
Compensation: $16.00 hourly, negotiable, part-time.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor the Heavy Vehicle Simulators (HVS) during testing.
- Log any malfunctions or errors and report them to the operations supervisor.
- Perform required maintenance tasks as directed after appropriate training.
- Assist in data analysis using computer software.
- High school diploma with relevant research or engineering work experience.
- Basic computer skills;
LabVIEW experience is a plus. - Engineering students are encouraged to apply.
Background check required. Position may also require a credit check according to university policy.
