As a Security Guard - Flex Armed Patrols in Jacksonville, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities. This role allows you to build a flexible schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any unusual circumstances to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

• 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid armed guard card or license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Background investigation and drug screen will be required.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
