As a Security Guard - Flex Armed Patrol in Jacksonville, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as utilities. You will monitor and patrol utility locations to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the utilities environment.
• Maintain a visible presence and interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures, and site‑specific protocols.
• Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Document all incidents and activities according to site and company requirements.

• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to drug screening as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements as required by state or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required only for driving positions.
