Duties & Responsibilities- The CST will perform security services during the renovation of Building 2480 at Naval Station Mayport, FL.
- Assist the Government Security Construction Manager and Site Security Manager by verifying, testing, and accepting collateral equipment to ensure materials meet mission requirements.
- Surveil materials, storage, and movement; communicate issues to the Site Security Manager and Government Security Construction Manager.
- Coordinate receipt, inventory, and storage of materials; coordinate shipment with the government s Transportation Manager to support construction dates.
- Coordinate storage and expenditure of materials; oversee inventory, inspections, testing, and supervision of collateral materials to meet requirements.
- Provide direct advice to field personnel on construction activities and communicate issues for resolution to the Site Security Manager.
- Attend meetings as required and communicate requirements or issues to the Site Security Manager.
- Maintain a current Top-Secret Clearance (SSBI or T5 within the last six years) and be DCID 6/4 Eligible.
- Familiarity with established security protocols and challenges in assembling high-security systems, coordinating procurements, transportation, storage, and installation of US Government collateral equipment.
- Complete CST/CAG (Construction Security Technician/Cleared American Guard) course (or equivalent).
- Complete an applicable Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) course (or equivalent).
- Hold a valid CST Training Course certificate (40 hours or greater) completed within the last 5 years.
- U.S. citizen with Top Secret security clearance.
- Trained in Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) skills.
- Maintain a current Top-Secret Clearance based on SSBI or T5 within the last six years, and DCID 6/4 Eligible.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
