As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for members, visitors, and employees. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, financial institution policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site-specific procedures.

+ Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while following applicable laws, regulations, and site policies.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
