Concrete Finisher

We are looking for a Concrete Finisher to join our team. You must have at least one year of construction experience, preferably working with concrete, and be proficient with industry tools. The role is physically demanding and requires good physical stamina, the ability to work in all weather conditions, and the strength to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Experience operating a curb machine is a plus.
• Work hours are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday (subject to change due to project demands, weather, etc.), with a lunch break. Overtime, standby, and occasional weekend work may be required.
• Stand regularly throughout the shift.
• Perform heavy physical labor, including frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 lbs and sometimes more than 100 lbs.
• Climb, kneel, crouch, twist, lift, carry, drag, balance, push, and/or pull as needed.
• Shovel dirt or concrete for long periods throughout the day.
• Work outdoors in all weather and temperature extremes, and be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Grade, form, and control concrete to achieve proper thickness and accurate yields.
• Wear safety equipment or PPE at all times, including hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses, steel‑toe boots, back‑support belts, seat belts, and respirator masks when cutting concrete.
• Maintain good manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination, and balance.
• Read and interpret warning signs, labels, plans, drawings, written instructions, and specifications.
• Work as a team member, especially when using power tools.
• Take pride in work and keep all tools clean by the end of each day.

Minimum Requirements

• Proof of work eligibility.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site (do not apply if you do not have reliable transportation).
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug test.
• Must pass a background check.

On‑the‑Job Training (Preferred but Required)

• OSHA certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Competent Person certification.
