Pipefitter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

RQC, LLC is a full-service contracting and design firm focusing on Design/Build projects for public and private clients, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense. The position is for Pipe fitters to join the self-perform team for ongoing work on Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base. All work is performed on the military base and is paid the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to Kings Bay.

Our Pipe fitters will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and planning of all piping systems on an active construction site, ensuring that work is performed in accordance with relevant codes. This includes the technical application of pipe fitting principles, using appropriate equipment and maintaining required safety practices in support of RQC's mission, vision, and values.

• High school diploma or GED (minimum).
• 4+ years (or equivalent) field or trade experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
• Mechanical pipe installation
• Deep underground experience
• Start-up and energizing experience (boilers, chillers)
• Valid pipefitter license or journeyman card preferred
• Current welding certificate
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certifications preferred

Location:

Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base. All work is performed on the military base and is paid the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage specific to Kings Bay.

This project requires variable shifts to meet deadlines and ensure continuous coverage, with shifts expected to extend through the end of 2025.

Pay: $45.15 - $46.25 per hour
