$49.09/hr – $51.01/hr (Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage)

• Use hand‑welding, flame cutting, hand soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components.
• Pass groove‑weld qualification tests in all positions for multiple materials and processes using SMAW and GTAW.
• Complete work on an active construction site in compliance with relevant codes and safety practices.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred). Completion of a Union, private, military, or trade school apprenticeship program that includes theory and on‑the‑job training.
• 5‑8 years of field or trade experience as a Combination Pipe Welder in a commercial or facilities operations setting (government, military, or large commercial construction).
• Pass 6G GTAW & SMAW test before hiring.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30‑hour Certifications required. Preferred additional training/certificates: trenching and shoring, fall protection, confined space training, forklift/manlift, power‑actuated tools, lockout/tagout, scissor/boom lift, EM‑385.
