Job Summary

As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques.

You will work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Pay Range

$20-$25 per hour

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a welder.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with various welding equipment and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
  • Certification or licensure as required by local, state, or national regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Select and set up welding equipment, including shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, and gas tungsten arc welding.
  • Perform welding operations in various positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead).
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances.
  • Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes, and increase the size of metal parts.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
