Pay Rate: $28.00‑35.00/hour*

The Service Technician II provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration, including grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, and walk‑in coolers.

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration.
• Communicates status updates for part orders and repairs with branch support and customers.
• Completes service calls accurately and promptly.
• Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
• Ensures service vehicle, tools, and uniforms are consistent with Whaley safety standards.
• Meets on‑call requirements.

• Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and/or refrigeration.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Valid driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standard.

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
• Journeyman License and/or CFESA certification not required but would be a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and soft skills.
• Good driving record.
