Roofing, Building Maintenance, Field/Service Technician, Installation Technician
Weather lock Roof Systems is growing our commercial service and maintenance division, Weather lock MAX, and we’re looking for a Lead Commercial Roof Technician to help us build it the right way.
This is not a production roofing position. The focus is commercial roof service, leak investigation, repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and helping customers extend the life of their existing roof systems.
We’re looking for someone who can walk onto a commercial roof, diagnose a problem, communicate clearly, document what they find, and take ownership of getting the issue resolved, from arrival through close‑out.
What you’ll be doing :- Diagnose and repair commercial roof leaks
- Perform preventative maintenance and roof repairs
- Complete half‑day, full‑day, and time‑and‑material service work
- Inspect and assess commercial roofing systems
- Document conditions, repairs, and recommendations using our systems
- Communicate professionally with property managers, building owners, and our internal team
- Lead a two‑person commercial service crew
- Help establish the standards and processes for Weather lock MAX
Experience with commercial roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built‑up roofing, shingle roofing and metal roofing is important.
Compensation:$28–$35/hour, based on commercial roofing experience, service knowledge, and ability to independently diagnose and manage commercial roof repairs.
What we offer:- Full‑time, year‑round opportunity
- Company truck for work‑related use
- Company‑provided tools and equipment
- Health and employee benefits
- Paid time off
- Training and professional development
- Opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role as Weather lock MAX expands
- Established systems and support through Job Nimbus, Company Cam, and the Weather lock MAX operating process
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands commercial roofing, and is comfortable troubleshooting instead of simply being told what to repair.
The right person understands that great commercial service is about more than fixing a leak. It’s about showing up professionally, documenting the roof properly, communicating with the client, and leaving the building owner confident that the problem was handled correctly.
Weather lock MAX is built around a simple idea: protect the roof the customer already owns and maximize the useful life of that asset.
If you’re an experienced commercial roofing service technician who wants the opportunity to help build and eventually lead a growing commercial service operation, we’d like to talk.
