Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (React Focus)

Location: Jacksonville, FL (onsite 5 days per week)

Compensation: $150,000 base + bonus

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

We are partnered with a global specialty insurer that has recently launched a brand-new engineering and data science division. With major investment into technology, this is a rare opportunity to work on greenfield projects and shape the future of modern engineering within a traditionally regulated industry.

You will take ownership of a new data mapping application built in React, designed to integrate source files into Snowflake. Starting with 40 internal users, this app will later be scaled externally for a wide customer base. You’ll work directly with senior engineering leadership, leading design, build, and deployment from scratch.

• Own the design, build, and deployment of a new data mapping application built in React to integrate source files into Snowflake.
• Lead greenfield development efforts, from design to production.
• Collaborate with senior engineering leadership and cross-functional teams.

• 6–8+ years’ software engineering experience (full stack focus)
• Strong depth in React and API development
• Proven greenfield project experience (designing and coding from scratch)
• Hands-on deployment experience (not just relying on Dev Ops)
• Confident, opinionated, and able to take ownership and lead builds

Nice to have: Tailwind, CSS, Python, Snowflake, insurance industry experience

• $150,000 base salary + 10% bonus
