Commercial Programming Systems, Inc. (CPS) is an Information Technology Staffing company offering a broad range of services aimed at helping our clients deliver high-quality, cost-effective systems.

We are currently searching for a contract to hire a Software Developer for our direct client in Jacksonville, Florida. This is an onsite role.

The Software Developer will be responsible for developing both front‑end and back‑end software for internal products and consumer‑facing products used throughout the United States. Your role will involve the development of concepts, as well as regular product development to enhance the end‑to‑end experience for our users.

• Development of the user‑facing portion of the website/application in React
• Develop software web applications using .NET and React frameworks.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Debug and resolve software defects and provide ongoing support for existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure that software standards are maintained.
• Collaborate to identify and solve complex problems.

• 5+ years of experience in software development with .NET and React frameworks.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Automated test experience would be considered a plus.
