Network Engineer

Build the tools that thousands of developers depend on as a Network Engineer working with Jira Service Management and modern tooling. For someone 3 years deep in Bash Scripting, this Jacksonville job means $76,000 - $112,000, a contract cadence, and genuine influence.

• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and technology roadmap discussions
• Set the Power Shell coding standards the rest of Twitter engineering follows
• Pair Jira Service Management and DHCP in a pipeline Twitter can extend without your help later
• Tune Project Management caching so Twitter survives the Jacksonville launch spike on the same hardware
• Document the Process Improvement system so the next mid-level engineer onboards in days, not weeks

• The integrity to flag your own mistakes first
• Demonstrated capacity to mentor or support mid-level teammates
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team
• 5 years of Project Management práctica, plus a hunger for what's next
• A FL work history, or strong reasons you'll thrive here anyway
• 3+ years of DHCP reps, not just DHCP exposure
• A track record of quick-to-ship delivery in a contract structure

Twitter writes the software that keeps technology operations humming, all of it engineered in Jacksonville, FL by a remote-native bunch. We keep the Jacksonville, FL office quiet on Wednesdays so deep LDAP work actually gets a fighting chance.
