** ETL SSIS Developer
** We are seeking an experienced
** ETL / SSIS Developer
** to design, develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise data integration solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have strong T-SQL development and performance-tuning skills, a solid understanding of data quality and security, and experience applying modern data architecture, Dev Ops, and database deployment practices.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Microsoft SSIS.
* Develop and maintain high-quality T-SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, views, and complex queries.
* Optimize SQL query performance through execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and query tuning.
* Implement robust error handling, logging, transaction management, and data validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
* Apply secure SQL development practices, including parameterized dynamic SQL, least-privilege access, and role-based security controls.
* Apply
** Medallion Architecture
** principles across Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers to support organized, reliable, and high-quality data processing.
* Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and data engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
* Follow Git-based development practices, including version control, peer code reviews, automated testing, and database CI/CD processes.
* Leverage AI-powered coding assistants to improve development productivity, testing, documentation, and code optimization, while ensuring all outputs are reviewed and validated.
* Support production data operations by monitoring SLAs/SLOs, troubleshooting ETL and database issues, resolving incidents, and conducting root-cause analysis.
* Identify opportunities to improve ETL performance, data quality, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
** Required Qualifications
*** Strong hands-on experience with
** Microsoft SSIS and SQL Server**.
* Proficiency in T-SQL development, including stored procedures, functions, views, and complex queries.
* Demonstrated experience in SQL performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and indexing.
* Experience developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale ETL pipelines.
* Understanding of data modeling, data validation, data integrity, and database security best practices.
* Familiarity with version control, code review processes, automated testing, and database deployment practices.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience with Talend Data Integration.
* Familiarity with Git Hub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
* Experience implementing automated testing and database CI/CD pipelines.
* Knowledge of Medallion Architecture and modern data engineering practices.
* Experience in banking, financial services, or other data-intensive enterprise environments.
