Are you ready to tackle sophisticated distributed systems challenges at scale? Our Telemetry Platform team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build and evolve the services that collect and process data from millions of NVIDIA users worldwide. If you love working on high-impact infrastructure, we want to hear from you!
Задачи- Design, build, and tune real-time, high-throughput services that ingest, validate, and route telemetry events from NVIDIA products worldwide.
- Make ingestion durable end to end (delivery guarantees, back pressure, persistent buffering, graceful degradation) so data survives component failures.
- Drive architecture for the data collection platform, including schema management and shared libraries for metrics, tracing, and configuration.
- Lead design reviews, write clear documents, and mentor other engineers.
- Own the services you build in production, including a shared on‑call rotation and incident management.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and 7+ years building backend services that run in production.
- Deep expertise in modern Java (17+) and Spring Boot, including concurrency, the Java Memory Model, and performance profiling.
- Strong distributed systems fundamentals (microservices, event‑driven architecture, delivery semantics, failure handling).
- Experience running large‑scale services with Docker, Kubernetes, and message brokers (Apache Kafka preferred) on AWS or another major cloud.
- Hands‑on experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and production observability.
- Proficiency in agentic engineering (AI coding agents).
- Fluent English.
- Production experience with reactive, non‑blocking Java (Project Reactor, Spring Web Flux, Netty).
- Background in telemetry, analytics, or high‑volume data ingestion.
- Experience with schema management for event data: schema registries, validation, and compatible schema evolution.
- Security and privacy fundamentals: authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT), network and cloud security, and privacy regulations such as GDPR.
