About the Position
We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our Moffett Terminal in Jacksonville, FL. Detail-oriented and dependable Dispatcher with experience coordinating transportation operations in fast-paced environments. Skilled in supporting drivers, managing high volume routing, and resolving issues efficiently. Focused on Moffett trucking services with strong commitment to customer service, accuracy, and operational safety.
Responsibilities:
- Specializing in dispatching Moffett-equipped trucks for local and regional deliveries.
- Intensive use of phone and various software to coordinate trucks and available loads
- Scheduling & Route Optimization
- Issue advances to drivers
- Assist our truck owners, drivers and terminal personnel with problem resolution
- Handle strong customer call volume in a concise and professional manner
Job Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) – Not required but extremely helpful
- Transportation industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good problem-solving skills
- Organized and dependable work habits and flexibility to assist as needed
- The hours of operation for this position are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
