Responsibilities- Drive a heavy‑duty truck safely in Jacksonville, TX, US, to collect residential household waste
- Perform pre‑and post‑trip inspections on vehicles to comply with DOT regulations
- Report any safety concerns or service issues promptly to the Route Supervisor/Manager or Dispatch
- Attend and actively participate in all mandatory training sessions, briefings, and meetings
- Work closely with the Route Supervisor/Manager to optimize route efficiencies
- Immediately inform management of any incidents, accidents, or service interruptions
- Communicate customer requests effectively to the Dispatch or Route Supervisor/Manager
- Ensure all bins are emptied and leave customer locations clean and orderly
- Follow assigned routes diligently and accurately complete end‑of‑day paperwork
- Assist other drivers as necessary to meet customer demands
- To qualify for the position of Residential Driver in Jacksonville, TX, US, the candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience operating a vehicle that requires a CDL
- The candidate must possess a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with an air brake endorsement
- Legally eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years of age.
- The role requires physical abilities such as motor coordination, handling objects weighing more than 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- The work environment involves outdoor settings and driving a video/GPS‑monitored vehicle, with exposure to elements like dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes
- The schedule includes a 10‑hour shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend availability as needed
$21 - $24 hourly
