Job Description

The Breakroom Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by ensuring that our customers’ products are stocked appropriately. Ensure that customers' equipment is always operating properly, cleaned, and notify them of any new offers that may be of interest to them. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

  • Unload and stock daily inventory at customer site, ensuring freshness of products by monitoring date codes
  • Manage delivery and stocking of items at client location
  • Cleans equipment and exchanges decanters on each visit.
  • Make repairs or adjustments to equipment to return the equipment in working order.
  • Clean and maintain equipment on location
  • Maintain a good working relationship and liaison with customers to maintain a positive image of the company and product.
  • Assist with receiving and inspecting products, accurately labeling items and reporting any discrepancies in reconciliation of deliveries and invoices.
  • Responsible for organizing and storing all incoming products in assigned locations, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable products.
  • May require training and operation of a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts.
  • Picks inventory to assemble orders of product, supplies and equipment for requisitions or established par levels.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
  • Load, unload and transport products and materials to different areas of the warehouse and/or other client locations. May require use of carts, powered industrial vehicles (PIV), or motor vehicles.
  • Responsible for conducting routine physical inventory counts based on established location schedules.
  • Accurately complete administrative duties including records such as inventory count documents, temperature and spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and any other relevant business records. This may be on paper or in a technology-based system (hand‑held device or PC).
  • Clean work areas as assigned, including but not limited to restrooms, break areas, loading dock, freight elevator and freight platform delivery areas when applicable.
  • Implement all location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures. Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customer's employees about new product interest
  • Use a laptop computer to manage stocking PAR levels, product orders and client invoicing
  • Performs repairs to best of ability.
  • Calls in orders and service calls to head office.
  • Distributes promotional materials and merchandises complete product line.
  • Cleans equipment and exchanges decanters on each visit.
  • Communicates with Route Sales Manager or General Manager regarding customers and reports on pending problems or on evidence of competitors in customer locations.
  • Establishes and maintains a good working relationship and liaison with customers to project a positive image of the company and product.

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in a position requiring interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Client interaction, communication, organization/time management are critical to the success of this role.
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing demands.
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical ability to repeatedly lift packages, up to 50lb (drinks and snacks)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must possess the ability to work efficiently and independently.
