Job Summary

Electricians at Nestlé ensure smooth production by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and instrumentation across processing and packaging operations in a dynamic food manufacturing environment.

Schedule
  • Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule with weekends off.
  • 8-hour shift 3 available 4:00 pm - midnight
  • Training is on day shift and transitions to your appointed shift upon completion.
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required to support critical deadlines—offering a great opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and earn additional income.

What you’ll accomplish
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install control devices including sensors, motors, switches, and circuit breakers.
  • Support engineering upgrades and maintenance improvements.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, control networks, instrumentation, and electrical systems (up to 480V).
  • Disassemble, inspect, and repair mechanical and electrical components using diagnostic tools.
  • Install wiring, conduit, panels, and drives using proper tools and techniques.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend equipment upgrades.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment adjustments to improve performance.
  • Execute changeovers on packaging and processing equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals to plan and perform repairs.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • 2-year Associate in electronics technology or equivalent technical degree is a plus
  • Journey-level certification in industrial electronics is a plus
  • 3 years of experience in an electronics position

OR

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • 2-year associate degree in electronics technology or equivalent technical degree
  • Experience working with Allen Bradley Control Logix PLCs
  • Experience working in food manufacturing
  • Diagnose and repair electrical failures involving circuits, fuses, switches, solenoids, and sensors
  • Maintain and restore industrial machinery and equipment to optimal operating condition
  • Proficient with hand tools, measuring devices, and powered equipment (e.g., drills, saws)
  • Analyze test results, error messages, and operator feedback to identify root causes
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership, open to feedback and collaboration
  • Read and apply schematics, P&IDs, manuals, and engineering documentation
  • Use critical thinking to troubleshoot systems, interpret data, and drive process improvements
  • Make informed decisions based on analysis and lead initiatives that enhance performance
  • Willing to obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., Arc Flash, LOTO, PTW)
