Up to $20,000 Sign‑On Bonus. Salary $30.23/hr to $48.37/hr join a team dedicated to delivering high‑quality, compassionate care. As an RN – Acute Care at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, you’ll play a vital role in providing expert nursing care, assessing patient conditions and working closely with interdisciplinary teams to drive positive health outcomes.
What You’ll Do- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments with precision and adherence to clinical best practices.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans and self-care strategies to support recovery.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
- Advocate for patients by fostering open communication, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive healthcare experience.

A compassionate, detail-oriented nurse who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment and is committed to providing excellent patient care.
Education, Licensures & Certifications- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
- BSN preferred
- Licensed RN in Illinois
- CPR certification required or must be completed during onboarding
- New graduates and experienced RNs welcome
- 2–3 years of acute care experience preferred
- Provide direct patient care while adhering to hospital policies, safety standards and best practices.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed and document all care provided.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Assist with training, mentoring and onboarding new nurses and students.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols, safety regulations and regulatory standards.
