RN - Inpatient Dialysis –
Memorial Health
Location:
Jacksonville, IL
Salary: USD $30.23/hr – $48.37/hr
Sign-on Bonus: up to $20,000
OverviewAs a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive care of acutely ill patients. Provide care to all age groups through the proper utilization of the nursing process; assessment, formulation of nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of plan of care in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. Responsible for supervising nursing staff to care for groups of patients.
Education,Qualifications & Licensure
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Licensed in the State of Illinois.
- Certified in ACLS, CPR (or completes during onboarding); ECRN licensure.
- Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) or TNCC to be completed within 2 years of hire (at discretion of manager).
- 2–3 years of experience preferred.
- Advanced skills in reading, writing and oral communication.
- Knowledge of basic professional nursing skills.
- Ability to use clinical information systems and basic computer skills.
- Assesses patient’s health status through interview, observation and physical assessment.
- Delegates, supervises, and provides nursing care for assigned patients using the nursing process.
- Participates in research and incorporates findings into evidence-based practice.
- Contributes to quality improvement processes.
- Completes documentation accurately and timely.
- Demonstrates technical knowledge and safe use of patient care equipment.
- Prioritizes work based on patient condition changes, assignments, and interruptions.
- Performs nursing care activities using safe techniques and follows policies.
- Advocates for patients with families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
- Adapts teaching strategies based on patient response and readiness.
- Implements cultural, gender, and developmental factors in patient/family education.
- Supports excellent patient experience and leads related initiatives.
- Performs other related work as required.
