Retail Sales Associate

Overview

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

Hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. Employees earn additional commission based on productivity. Commission can be up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $1.94 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

• Greets and interacts with customers to recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑managerial open/close procedures.
• Maintains sales floor cleanliness, stocking, and merchandise display.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborates with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform tasks requiring standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work with customers and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS and common office machines.
