Assistant Manager
We at Domino's Pizza are seeking an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our 901 W Morton Ave location in Jacksonville, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily store operations and manage shifts efficiently.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure high‑quality customer service standards are consistently met.
- Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately.
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Answer phone calls and process customer orders promptly.
- Support the store manager in implementing company policies and procedures.
- Assist in training and developing new team members.
- Resolve customer complaints and address concerns professionally.
- Contribute to creating a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.
- Proven experience in restaurant or retail management, preferably in the food service industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in math and problem‑solving for effective cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and reporting.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for customers and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
What we’re looking for:
Experience leading a team; during your shift you will manage staff of anywhere from 3 to 30 people. You need a strong attitude and motivational skills to get them in the right place at the right time and doing the right thing all while creating a great place to work.
A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Safety is a priority for us and we want to make sure anyone we put on the road is safe to be there. You will also need access to a reliable vehicle that is insured and have a valid driver's license.

Our stores are open 365 days a week. While your schedule is pretty flexible, you must be willing to work when the team needs you the most.
