Vending Route Driver

Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for full time VENDING ROUTE DRIVER positions. The location is Canteen - 909 East Morton, Jacksonville, IL 62650. Online applications accepted only. The schedule is full time Monday through Friday with varying hours and some Saturdays. Must have a valid driver’s license. Benefits include shift shoes allowance, uniforms provided, and willingness to train. Pay range $41,000–$80,000 annually (commission-based).

Internal employee referral bonus is available. All Canteen driving roles may include commission eligibility.

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Inform clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue promotional materials to customers.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid non‑CDL Class C driver’s license (state permits).
• Preferred 1–2 years experience in a customer service position, or at least 1 year of related experience.
• Proficient with handheld computer; training provided.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently and responsible for the route and work unsupervised 98% of the day.
