The General Laborer is responsible for operating industrial power equipment as needed to complete assigned tasks. This person is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

• sorting waste for proper distribution
• collecting waste from the manufacturing floor
• Safely operate a forklift
• Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.g., golf carts or Gators)
• Operate pneumatic, battery powered and electric hand tools
• Maintain a safe work environment following all required safety regulations and protocols
• Complete other duties as assigned

• Skills and Abilities
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, either orally or in writing
  • Must follow all health and safety requirements
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and friendly
• Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Successfully pass training:
    Lock-Out-Tag-Out, Confined Spaces, Aerial Lifts, Forklift, Gator/Cart, Fall Protection, PPE, and Bloodborne Pathogens
• Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for long periods of time; climb stairs
  • Repeat the same movements
  • Frequent bending and twisting
  • Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
  • Work at heights to 40 feet
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• This position is primarily responsible for the material throughout the plant, unloading/loading trucks, picking up empty skids/tubs, all while maintaining a safe environment.

• Ability to quickly learn the layout of the plant, and extreme care for safety in driving and operating the fork truck is paramount.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills will be important.
• Comfort with repetitive and physical work is very important.
• Employees may be required to lift up to 40 pounds and will be required to stand, sit, stoop and bend throughout the day.

• Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm
