Jacksonville Kia is seeking a skilled and efficient Automotive Express Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong vehicle maintenance background and be able to perform quick and accurate services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections. The Automotive Express Technician plays a crucial role in providing prompt and quality service to our customers.

- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify any potential issues
- Mount, balance, and rotate tires as needed
- Inspect tire tread depth and recommend replacements when necessary
- Replace air filters, cabin air filters, and fuel filters based on manufacturer recommendations
- Test vehicle batteries and replace as necessary
- Advise customers on brake services and replacements as needed
- Document all services performed accurately and maintain service records
- Inspect brake systems for wear and tear
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Other duties assigned
- Previous experience as a technician, particularly in quick service or express maintenance, is preferred
- Proficient in performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire services
- ASE certification or relevant certifications in automotive maintenance is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vehicle owners
- Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians, service advisors, and support staff
- Ability to identify and address basic automotive issues during inspections
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass pre-employment background screenings
