Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound imaging in the following areas: abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, neuro, and neonatal heads. Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner. Exercise professional judgement in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Be available for call as requested. Apply appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Education& Certification
RDMS or eligible and/or ARRT with previous training and ultrasound experience. If eligible, must apply for certification testing within 12 months of employment; certification must be attained within 24 months of hire.
