Information Security Analyst Senior

The Information Security Analyst Senior plans, implements, upgrades, or monitors security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. He or she assesses system vulnerabilities for security risks and proposes and implements risk mitigation strategies. He or she may ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure. May respond to computer security breaches and viruses.

As a Senior level analyst, you typically work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently. A Senior level analyst may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Experience/

Education Requirements:

• More than 10 years’ of experience and an MA/MS degree
• Allowed substitution:
  Work experience and/or industry recognized certifications can be provided in leu of education requirements. 4 years of experience required for each degree level.

Position requires a SECRET security clearance.
