GPS Dozer Operator - Jacksonville, NC

An experienced GPS Dozer Operator for our Jacksonville, NC - OAJ project who can safely and effectively operate equipment.

• Perform documented pre-shift 360 walk‑around inspection of the equipment.
• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate equipment.
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members, as well as guiding others supporting your activities.
• Strip, place, and move dirt, rocks, equipment, and other materials with or without GPS guidance to the desired grade.
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Perform daily maintenance and housekeeping, including inspection, checking fluid levels, greasing and cleaning, and reporting issues.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other job‑related duties as required or assigned.
• Operate other equipment as needed.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience operating a GPS dozer.
• Experience with finish/fine grade work.
• Basic tool knowledge and mechanical inclination.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Thorough knowledge of safety precautions while working.
• Work requires exposure to construction site environments with extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, hazardous substances, and loud noise levels.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to the work schedule.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Provide personal transportation to and from the jobsite.
