In Home Personal Aide – Visiting Angels, Tyler, TX

Visiting Angels provides compassionate care to senior adults in East Texas, serving communities in Jacksonville, Bullard, Troup, Palestine, Frankston, and more. As an In Home Personal Aide, you will support seniors with light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance, transportation, and companionship.

• Part‑time
• 8‑hour, 10‑hour, 12‑hour shifts

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Provide personal care and hygiene support
• Assist with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals (assisting clients as needed)
• Do clients’ shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies

• Minimum 2 years of previous caregiving experience
• Valid driver’s license ( alone is insufficient)
• Vehicle with current insurance
• Passion to serve others – a true caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with dietary considerations
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful, compassionate, and communicative
• Strong time‑management skills and ethics
• Physical endurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
