Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the production department.

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the production department.
• Prioritize and prepare production schedules and communicate production goals to appropriate departments.
• Analyze equipment efficiency, material supply, and coordinate manpower requirements.
• Maintain quality control of product.
• Manage, train, and supervise department supervisors, shift leads, and production personnel.
• Collect, verify, and report daily/weekly/monthly production data.
• Perform scheduling of production and indirect personnel as directed by the Plant Manager.
• Track and report vacation/attendance with Ops. Coordinator.
• Acquire and report environmental data (water/air quality) on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Create, maintain, and convey production and inventory reports to management and sales.
• Oversee corrective action policies, employee performance evaluations, and training schedules.
• Recruit and evaluate potential employees.
• Maintain plant-wide parts/equipment/expendable inventory tracking.
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels for efficient operation.
• Oversee implementation of quality control SOPs including the PFI Standards Program.
• Coordinate safe operation of the facility and safety program at the plant level, meeting all reporting requirements (OSHA, state, federal).

• 3‑5 years of related supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ‘Roll up your sleeves’ approach; highly analytical, forward‑thinking, resourceful, and strategic.
• Technical and analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform simple to complex math calculations.
• Workable in high temperature/humidity area.
• Generate Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work unsupervised and flexible to night/weekend hours.
• Available to be on call 24/7.
