• Hours: 40 per week (opportunity for overtime)
• Pay Range: $28‑$36 per hour (depending on experience)

• Perform thorough, accurate preventive maintenance inspections.
• Follow schedules and complete all required maintenance operations including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotation.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance as directed by the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.
• Carry out complex operations such as engine, electrical, fuel, brake, and exhaust repairs; use drawings, specifications and technical materials to interpret tasks.
• Provide emergency roadside services as required.
• Inspect equipment and diagnose mechanical defects.
• Document repairs and parts on work orders completely and accurately.
• Maintain tools and workplaces in a neat, orderly condition.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Be available for on‑call service calls, extended hours, or weekend work when emergencies arise.
• Drive vans, buses, and vehicles for road‑testing as needed.

• 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or general mechanic (preferred).
• Accreditation from a school or certification program (preferred).
• Completion of all required training.
• Successful pre‑employment background check.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all safety requirements.
