The role
This is not a roadmap-slides PM job. You will run the day-to-day operating system of the product: what gets built this week, why, for which client, and whether it shipped. You'll sit between paying clients, the founders, and a senior engineering team, and your job is to make all three faster. If you like owning outcomes rather than tickets, this is for you.
What you'll do
Own the sprint: plan, groom, and run weekly sprints in Jira. Backlog stays clean, tickets stay small, every item has a why and acceptance criteria.
Prioritise daily for a team of senior engineers. Decide what matters today, kill what doesn't, and take the coordination, QA and documentation load off them so they only write code.
Be the front door for client requirements. Sit in calls with staffing firms, IT consulting and enterprise TA teams, turn what they ask for into what they actually need, and push back when a request doesn't fit the product.
Write PRDs that engineers can build from without a follow-up meeting: problem, scope, edge cases, acceptance criteria, success metric.
Run releases end to end — release notes, client communication, hand-off to sales and customer success, post-release checks.
Use AI tools as a force multiplier:
Atlassian Rovo for backlog and Jira automation, Claude / ChatGPT for specs, test cases and research, AI meeting tools for call notes into tickets. We expect you to be the most AI-fluent person in the room, not the one learning it on the job.
Track product usage and pilot metrics (screening completion, time-to-shortlist, integrity flags) and bring the numbers to the founders weekly with a recommendation, not just a dashboard.
Manage founders' work too: turn strategy conversations into tracked action items, chase them, close them.
Run user interviews and pilot feedback loops with recruiters and candidates; feed learnings straight into the next sprint.
Keep sales, delivery and engineering aligned on one plan — no side-channel commitments to clients that engineering hears about later.
What we're looking for
0-2 years in product, program or technical project management at a SaaS / B2B / AI startup. HR tech, recruitment or assessment background is a plus, not a requirement.
Jira power user. You've run sprints, built boards and automations, and know the difference between a tidy backlog and a graveyard.
Hands-on with Atlassian Rovo and AI copilots in your daily workflow — not familiar with, actually using them to move faster.
Technical enough to earn the respect of senior engineers: you can read an API spec, follow an architecture discussion, and know when an estimate is padded.
Sharp written and verbal communication. You can explain a product decision to a CTO and to a non-technical TA head in the same afternoon.
Comfortable talking to clients directly, including handling escalations and saying no.
Bias for action. You'd rather ship a scoped version this week than a perfect one next month.
Founder-mindset: you treat the company's outcomes as your own, want upside tied to them, and are looking for a seat at the table in an early-stage company, not a role at a big one.
Bachelor's in Engineering, CS, Business or equivalent practical experience.
Work timings
10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. On-site in Jaipur.
