Footwear Designer

Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site Footwear Designer role based in Jaipur. The Footwear Designer will conceptualize and design footwear collections that align with Birdhouse’s sustainable, vegan, and story-driven brand ethos. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating technical drawings, developing product concepts, preparing mood boards, and collaborating with product development teams to translate designs into production-ready prototypes. The role involves working closely with material suppliers and production partners to ensure designs are feasible, sustainable, and aligned with quality standards.

The designer will also participate in trend research, fit and comfort evaluations, and iterative design refinements to deliver cohesive seasonal collections.

Qualifications
Strong skills in technical drawing and product design for footwear.
Ability to create compelling mood boards and visual concepts that guide collection development.
Hands-on experience with product development, from prototype to final production.
Proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and basic 3D visualization is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant degree or diploma in footwear design, industrial design, product design, or a related field.
