About the Role
ARCH College of Design & Business is seeking a research-driven, visionary academic leader to serve as Head of Academics and drive excellence across undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs.
This senior leadership role will strengthen curriculum innovation, academic governance, accreditation alignment, faculty development, and research integration—while advancing ARCH’s commitment to global, sustainable, and responsible design education.
We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on leader who believes in academic rigor, institutional growth, and research-led design education.
Key Responsibilities
Lead curriculum planning and academic governance across all programs
Drive research culture, academic publications, and industry-linked academic initiatives
Mentor and develop faculty teams to enhance teaching excellence and research output
Oversee accreditation processes (NAAC / UGC / AICTE frameworks)
Integrate global academic practices and industry collaboration into curriculum
Strengthen academic policies, documentation, audits, and quality systems
Promote sustainability-driven and innovation-led design education
Align academic strategy with long-term institutional vision
Eligibility & Qualifications Academic Qualification
PhD preferred (Research-oriented candidates strongly encouraged)
Master’s degree (Mandatory) in Design / Creative Industries / Design Business or relevant discipline
Experience
Minimum 12+ years in higher education
At least 5+ years in academic leadership roles (Dean / HoD / Academic Head / equivalent)
