Role & Responsibilities
Design and implement individualized learning plans aligned with IB PYP/MYP frameworks for students with diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum, assessments, and instructional strategies for inclusive participation.
Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust interventions using data-driven approaches.
Partner with parents and caregivers to establish consistent communication and support home-school alignment.
Facilitate social-emotional learning and executive functioning skill-building within inclusive settings.
Contribute to school-wide inclusion initiatives and professional development workshops for faculty.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
IB PYP or MYP training certification
Special Education certification (B.Ed. or M.Ed. in Special Education)
Experience with IEP (Individualized Education Program) development
Proficiency in assistive technology tools for learning support
Knowledge of inclusive pedagogy and differentiated instruction
Understanding of child psychology and behavioral intervention models
Preferred
Experience in international or IB schools
Training in trauma-informed practices or ADHD/autism-specific strategies
Familiarity with IB Learner Profile and ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills
