Position:
Music Teacher for Grades 1 to 8
We seek an experienced educator with high expectations, innovation, and creativity. The ideal candidate will:
Have a
B.Mus. or above in Indian classical music (vocal/ string or wind instruments).
Have experience in teaching music to school children in a school setting.
Have prior public performance experience.
Possess good communication skills in Hindi and English
Commit to the school’s vision and educational philosophy.
Embrace a high-quality pastoral care environment with a focus on children’s health and emotional safety.
Actively participate in co-curricular and enrichment activities.
Implement inquiry-based teaching, differentiating activities for diverse student needs.
Authentically assess, record, and track student progress.
Support holistic child development.
Prioritize student agency and self-efficacy through modeling.
Be enthusiastic about professional development activities and innovation/design led special programs.

Preferred Attributes:
Minimum 3-5 years of primary education experience preferably with an IB/IGCSE
Proven effectiveness in collaborative work.
Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate music education into the school's broader educational strategy.
Valued Additional Assets:
Proficiency in IT Skills, learning apps and digital tracking of student skills.
Prior experience of training students for certification in performance.
Skilled in collaborating with parents, students, and community stakeholders to initiate service-based performance projects.
Commitment to develop partnerships with local clubs, organizations, and institutions and create opportunities for students to showcase their talents.
