About the Role
We are looking for an SEO Manager who takes an AI-first approach to organic growth. Beyond traditional SEO, you will build search visibility across both classic search engines and AI-driven discovery surfaces — AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other LLM-based answer engines that increasingly sit between buyers and our IT services and software development offerings.
You will own SEO strategy end to end: technical, on-page, content, and the emerging discipline of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). You will also leverage AI tools to scale keyword research, content production, and workflow efficiency. Success is measured by organic traffic, qualified leads, and visibility in AI-generated answers for our target US, UK, and UAE markets.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute the full SEO strategy: technical, on-page, off-page, and content.
Drive Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — optimize content and structure to be cited and surfaced in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and similar answer engines.
Use AI tools (e.g., for keyword clustering, content briefs, drafting, and analysis) to scale output without sacrificing quality or E-E-A-T.
Conduct keyword and topic research aligned to buyer intent across target geographies.
Lead technical SEO: site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema/structured data, crawlability, indexing.
Build and manage a content roadmap with writers, ensuring content is optimized for both traditional and AI search.
Develop and execute link-building and digital PR strategies to grow domain authority.
Monitor rankings, organic traffic, AI-citation visibility, and conversions; report on performance and pipeline contribution.
Stay ahead of search and LLM algorithm changes and adapt strategy accordingly.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a track record of growing organic traffic and leads.
Demonstrated understanding of (or active experimentation with) AI search / GEO and how LLMs surface and cite content.
Hands-on use of AI tools in an SEO workflow (content, research, automation).
Strong technical SEO skills: schema, site speed, indexing, audits.
Proficiency with SEO platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4).
Experience optimizing for US, UK, and/or Middle East markets.
Strong analytical skills and ability to tie SEO activity to business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in IT services, SaaS, or B2B technology SEO.
Familiarity with GEO/AEO tracking tools (e.g., Profound, Peec, Otterly, or similar AI-visibility trackers).
Experience managing writers, agencies, or freelancers.
Understanding of how E-E-A-T and structured content influence AI citations.
Basic familiarity with HTML, JavaScript rendering, and how it affects crawling.
