** Japanese Translator, Interpretor & Content Writer
** to strengthen communication and business relationships with Japanese clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Native Japanese Candidate  or a candidate with JLPT N1 certification (or equivalent native-level proficiency) who can effectively manage translation, interpretation, localization, and content creation requirements. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional linguistic expertise, cultural awareness, and the ability to communicate complex business information with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business documents, contracts, presentations, reports, technical materials, emails, and corporate communications from Japanese to English and vice versa.

• Provide interpretation support during meetings, conferences, business discussions, training sessions, and client interactions.

• Create, edit, proofread, and localize business content, marketing materials, website content, corporate communications, and presentations for Japanese audiences.

• Ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency across all translated and written content.

• Act as a communication bridge between Japanese stakeholders and internal teams.

• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to support ongoing projects involving Japanese partners and clients.

• Prepare meeting summaries, business correspondence, and executive communications in Japanese and English.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of business information and documentation.

• Support senior management with translation, content development, and communication requirements as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Native Japanese Speaker preferred, or JLPT N1 Certification (or equivalent native-level proficiency).

• Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language, Translation Studies, Linguistics, International Relations, Communications, Content Writing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in Japanese-English translation, interpretation, localization, content writing, or business communication.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.

• Strong understanding of Japanese business culture, etiquette, and corporate communication practices.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and translation/content management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Japanese nationality or prior experience living and working in Japan.

• Experience working with Japanese multinational corporations or international business environments.

• Strong content writing, localization, editing, and proofreading skills.

• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.
