Accounting Officer; G1

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions (AP, AR, and general journal entries) accurately and on time.
• Manage invoices, payments, and cash/bank receipts.
• Process vendor payments and verify supporting documents.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Perform periodic reconciliation of AP and AR balances.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring consistency between accounting records and bank statements, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and support month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare supporting documents for internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper and organized financial documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Support tax reporting (VAT, withholding tax) if required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Experience in a fast‑paced or startup environment is a plus.
• Experience 2 years as an auditor is a plus.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• High attention to detail and strong sense of accuracy.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
