Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled on a timely basis.
- Manage and maintain fixed asset records, including asset registration and depreciation.
- Record and review journal entries with high accuracy, ensuring transactions are properly coded to the correct general ledger accounts.
- Maintain detailed balance sheet account listings and perform periodic reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the monthly closing process and ensure all supporting schedules are properly documented.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Coordinate with internal or cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve closing timelines, streamline financial processes, and enhance reporting efficiency.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks and reporting as required by the Finance team or management.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Familiar with fixed asset accounting, including asset registration and depreciation.
- Good understanding of prepaid and accrual accounting entries.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is an advantage).
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
