Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Review Income Tax Returns (Corporate/Individual Income Tax), VAT, and Withholding Tax (WHT) prepared by team members prior to submission to clients and tax authorities.
• Ensure all supporting documents (working papers) are properly organized, complete, and readily available in the event of a tax audit.
• Lead and manage tax audits conducted by tax authorities (such as the Directorate General of Taxes), including handling tax disputes by preparing documentation for objections, appeals, and judicial reviews.
• Manage project workflows, provide training/mentorship, and evaluate the performance of staff/seniors team members.
• Ensure the team remains up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and laws to effectively support client strategies.

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Fiscal Administration.
• Brevet A & B certification is mandatory;
  Brevet C and a Tax Consultant License are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience in the field of taxation, including experience in a Tax Consultant Firm or Public Accounting Firm.
• In‑depth understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (Income Tax, WHT and VAT), fiscal reconciliation, transfer pricing, tax planning and the Coretax system.
• Fluent in English and proficient in computer literacy (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, etc.).
• Strong managerial skills, including leadership, multitasking, problem‑solving (tax disputes/audits), and strong communication skills to handle and advise clients.
